The Lodge has 7 guest rooms that are made up as follows: 2 x family rooms each with a double bed and a bunk bed that sleeps 2, 2 x double rooms ensuite with double beds.3 x Dormitory rooms, 1 that sleeps 6, 1 that sleeps 3 and 1 sleeps 2. 4 Bathrooms, 3 of these are en-suite and 1 is a communal bathroom with 3 showers and 2 toilets. One of the en-suite bathrooms has a shower only. There is a small plant-filled terrace that is used as a relaxation area and there is a lovely lounge that is airy and light with a working antique fireplace. The backpacker has a large reception/travel area, a large neat open plan kitchen and lounge area with views out towards Devil's Peak and Table Mountain. Most of the units have ceiling fans and the backpacker has an excellent business, more than enough to cover costs and a large bond.

Year-round consistent business coming from volunteers, international students, travelers & families. Very good level of marketing, the website is on the first page of Google, top 10 Trip Advisor ranking, and posters and brochures are positioned in guesthouses from Cape Town to Kosi Bay.

In an excellent central position and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, public transport, UCT shuttle and hospitals.
